Dr. Richard W. Leong Jr., DDS

Dr. Richard Leong has been a cornerstone of dental care in Melbourne and Brevard County since opening his practice in 1974 — bringing over 50 years of experience to every patient he sees.

With a career built around advanced and complex dentistry, Dr. Leong holds fellowships and masterships from some of the most prestigious dental organizations in the country, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. His clinical focus spans implantology, prosthetics, endodontics, periodontics, and cranial-mandibular orthopedics.

Dr. Leong’s career began with service in the United States Air Force, where he trained across every major discipline of dentistry. As Co-Chairman of the Atlantic Coast Research Group’s Implantology Division since 1986, he has helped shape the advancement of implant dentistry at a regional level. He has spent the decades since building a practice defined by clinical depth, precision, and a genuine commitment to the community he has called home for over half a century.
